A fan-favorite Chapter and dungeon DLC becomes free for all ESO players as part of the preparation for Season Two.
With Season Two kicking off on October 21, we are thrilled to announce that both the Greymoor Chapter and Wolfhunter dungeon DLC have been moved to ESO’s base game.
What does this mean? The Greymoor zone (Western Skyrim), storyline, Antiquities system, and Trial (Kyne’s Aegis) in addition to both the Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices dungeons can now be accessed by all ESO players at no cost!
Greymoor
If you’ve yet to venture into the cold climes of Western Skyrim (or the deepest depths of Blackreach), this is the perfect time to explore another region of the Nord homeland.
Included with the Chapter content is the Antiquities system, which allows you to seek out and dig up all manner of ancient treasures, secrets, and relics, in addition to the challenging 12-player Trial, Kyne’s Aegis.
Discover Western Skyrim
The Antiquities system recently underwent a series of quality-of-life improvements, so once you arrive in Western Skyrim, find Verita Numida in Solitude and get ready to dig up the past.
To kick off your adventures, navigate to your Collections UI, select Stories, and then find Greymoor listed under Chapters. You will acquire the opening quest and be on your way!
Wolfhunter
In addition to the Chapter, the Wolfhunter DLC introduces two four-player dungeons themed around Hircine’s cursed followers: Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices. Now, you and your party can venture into these PvE challenges for free.
Face the minions of Hircine
This, of course, is all in preparation for solo versions of those two dungeons, which arrive with Season Two in two days. If you’d like to jump into these two group challenges now, you can access it via the Dungeon Finder tool—good luck!
Season Two Calls
This is just the prelude to the launch of Season Two: Echoes of Skyrim on Wednesday, October 21 at 1PM ET, and there are a lot more exciting adventures and challenges to come for Tamriel’s heroes. This includes even more Skyrim-based content moving to ESO’s base game! Let us know if you’re excited to explore Skyrim’s dark heart via Bluesky, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
Season Two: Echoes of Skyrim launches on October 21 and will run until January 27, 2027.
