Night’s Den, a new house in Fargrave with some unusual features, can be yours for free when you explore the Night Market.

The launch of Season Zero has already brought a focus on new rewards via gameplay through Tamriel Tomes and the Gold Coast Bazaar, and the upcoming Night Market event zone (free for all ESO players on April 29) continues that trend. In addition to new monster mask sets, curated gear purchases, Trade Bar drops, and more, one of the more substantial rewards available in the event zone is the Night’s Den house.

A Unique New Home

Earned by completing “Those Who Would Rule,” the introductory quest for the Night Market in Starlit Plaza, Night’s Den is a manor-sized home that offers more to those who earn the favor of their chosen faction and make progress within the zone. In fact, several special features in Night’s Den set it apart from other houses currently available in ESO.

Quest to unlock Night’s Den

The first is a banner that you can use to display your choice of Night Market faction, unlocked by earning 1,000 Favor with your pledged faction. When displayed, it can show the iconography of any faction you have represented in your adventures. This means it can show one of three options in Season Zero depending on your choice, but it gains additional options over future Night Market appearances if you choose to support different factions.

Another marker of your Night Market progress can be displayed by unlocking additional wings of the house. To do so, you’ll need to unlock the relics that you can find in each district of the Night Market by collecting their fragments. Once you acquire a relic, you also unlock a collectible furnishing that places it on display, as well as a container of other furnishings you can use to theme the house after the relevant Night Market district. Just put that collectible furnishing in its place in Night’s Den, and you unlock the next wing of the house!

Display your relics and unlock new living space

You can also unlock an interactable vault, which provides access to your personal and guild bank storage with ease. Just earn 5,000 Favor with any Night Market faction. Once you’ve unlocked this convenient feature, the bank remains accessible even if you switch factions in a future appearance of the Event Zone.

Finally, Night’s Den adds greater flair based on your overall progression and wealth, too. The balance of Gold contained in your in-game bank is automatically reflected in one of the chambers of Night’s Den displaying what Gold you’ve acquired to any visitors. The vault has ten thresholds for Gold that can be displayed, as well as visual effects indicating how close you are to the next level of riches appearing. Let all visitors marvel at your outrageous wealth!

Move in Soon

Compared to Tamriel’s (and Oblivion’s) other homes, Night’s Den is truly a unique place to make your own, and the perfect staging point for your expeditions into the new zone. This new manor will become available when the Night Market opens—just complete the quest “Those Who Would Rule” by speaking to the Curator in the Starlit Plaza to claim it.

Don’t forget, while the Night Market is free, it will be open from April 29 until June 17* only, so don’t miss out. Are you excited to take ownership of the Night’s Den? Let us know via Bluesky, X (formerly Twitter)Instagram, and Facebook
