Test buffed area-of-effect damage abilities in the latest Vengeance Alliance War PvP campaign!
Cyrodiil’s Vengeance campaign has returned, and this time we’ve introduced some new gameplay tweaks to AoE damage abilities. Join this month’s Vengeance campaign and help us test these changes from now until April 27 at 10AM ET to help provide vital feedback for the Alliance War.
Test Boosted AoE Abilities
This month’s Vengeance campaign will be smaller in scope compared to previous tests, adding a few gameplay tweaks that’ll increase the power of DPS-focused players.
In this latest test, we’re increasing the number of enemies that all offensive area-of-effect abilities can target from a max of three to six. Battles should feel much faster and more aggressive, with AoE healing now becoming more important to use strategically rather than passively.
Vengeance Basics
If you’ve haven’t participated in any previous Vengeance campaign, or could just use a quick refresher, discover how to sign up by following the steps below:
- Navigate to the Alliance War menu
- Either by pressing L on your keyboard or navigating directly via the UI
- Select the Campaigns tab
- Select Cyrodiil and then the Vengeance campaign
The Vengeance campaign is open to all players level 10-50 and introduces a special ruleset to the Alliance War, templatizing player builds to help improve game stability and performance.
- All players have normalized stats regardless of level
- Each Class has a modified set of abilities and items
- Only Experience Points, Alliance Points, gold, and Champion Points are retained upon leaving the campaign, and no items can be taken out
- The Champion System is disabled in this campaign
Upon entering the campaign, your character is changed to match a specific template for their class. As mentioned above, this includes pre-determined abilities, attributes, consumables, and item sets. It also includes a backpack of supplies that cannot be removed from the campaign.
